I decided dat i gonna do somethin productive by doin wad i shd have done some time ago...cyclin...yeah, embarassin to lk at a 20-yr-old crashin his bicycle into a pole now and then, but den, i do like the sensation of ridin a 2-wheeler...so far, prog is relatively cool, b'in able to make slight turns in my cycle...but nd some assist in balanin the pedallin and handlin the u-turn...its always the fallin feelin dat gets u on edge and try to swevel in yr position to prevent the fall...guess it will b some practice before i get dis thing over and done wid...lor mee was dere to help mentor (hes a veteran, considerin the fact dat he started cyclin at K2)...in the end, the aspiration to cycle round the heartlands shd not b a prob at all...

field camp was short, but not widout its drama...the terrain was unfriendly as usual...i helped one of my guys dig a grd and when i swing my tool at a strength geat enough, i managed to knock a piece of rock off, onli for it to hit my eyelids...it feels like a bruise and when i asked the man to confirm, he onli retaliate in shock to c blood all over my right eye!...well, much drama followed as the guys attempted to 'evacuate' me away frm the dig site...but cos, i pretty sure dat all gonna b okay...sure nough, a scan wid the medics confirmed dat it was onli a slight cut at the eyelids, but wid the flesh showin...sounds gross, and the slight pain in the eyelid did relatively smart...the injury healed up pretty quickly, and i dun feel its much of an issue...

in the periods followin field camp, it was a restin period for the coy...except for my pl which went to sungei gedong for the eng ann parade...vewri monotonous for a practice, and kinda sux when u c the rest restin at coy line, den goin for outcamp run...while some commanders go to the floatin platform for a recce (yup, ndp fever had long started...our bgym had been set aside for the packagin of the npd funpacks...)...

lastly, dere was dis one nite when our csm asked all the reg to treat us for some dinner (literally...dey ended up footin more of the bill, while we pay part of our share)...went to dis kuishin-bo rest at JP...its been a long while since i last touched some japanese food...come to thk of it, the 1st time was when i was sec 3 and dere was dis sushi store in sun plaza...i tried the sushi (thk was salmon, i guess) but threw it out in the end...but now, it seems relatively refreshin...i guess i more used to sushi...i not gettin used to sashimi yet...too raw for me liao...the rest got alotta stuffs to offer...not so bad (if not for the beer they cbelanja to drk again)...
