guess wad?...1 wk early...again!
tot i would b stuck in jurong camp for a long while due to dos RECs hangin round...but the csm was merciful...hes lettin 1 spec out of the plt at a time...so dat deres equal coverage throughout the whole 3 wks...but it wun affect me; i'm the admin spec, after all...!
well, 2 wks been a veri eventful one...the first few daes were relatively eventless...we were all slackin in our bunks, assif anxiously waitin for dos new fellas to come...
...and they came.
oh dear.
dats when the first wave of chaos came...i nvr tot b'in an admin spec is anything BUT free...deres like a ton or so of logistics to settle...i found myself workin frm dae to nite in a seemingly nvr-endin cycle...but sundaes so far r the best time to slack round...cos no one will b in camp at dat time...well, dats also the dae i found myself rottin in the off most of the time...juz me and my trusty o'; comp...and a constantly timed-out card...
the recs...man, r they so obedient...but fearfully under force...the specs spared little mercy in the few daes dat followed after enlistment, as i witness wid my own eyes...dere was nvr 1 dae when the fellas dun get to drop into push-up postition...shoutins and marchin r abound, all over...cos the PSs dere kept emphasizin how farted-up the drills r...and th whole lot kept repeatin...
i came up close wid some of the recs as well...but cos they r on status...dos r the usual lots entitled to a wash-up of the office...and recently, alotta shreddin of paper...i was interested to c how they fared, like the way i experienced it myself, so i tk it as a great chance to survey the lot and c their views....not surprisingly, they sae its great, awesome, etc...but truth is, they all noe it by themselves dat they r sufferin...juz dat they fraid i will let their sec coms noe...a sad reality it is...but dats the onli way...
as one of my ps sae: 'the more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle'...i read bout the recs' cries bout ther lack of 'care for soldiers'...but wad is 'care for soldiers'?....issit givin soldiers wadever they wan in training, onli to let them die in battle cos of lack of adaption to the battle env?...or tough, realistic and safe training dat ensures dat each soldier will leave the battle alive?....somethin to ponder bout here...
i feelin a bit dizzy....muz b the effect the beer...darn, i nvr wanna touch beer, but the circumstances ytd durin some sort of initiation make it far frm poss to evade...so sux thumb like a man and drankl it all...erm, gulp it...and feel the extremtly strong 1000s of panadol pourin down my throat...i nearly vomitted twice, but me thks i fared better den i guy who puked and get his vomittin caught...dat hurts...after the firtst can, i was sure i grew hot all over, and slounchin in speech over the phone...for dat moment, all was as gd as blank...but frm wad happen ytd, 2 of my bunk colleges kena KO'ed...were casavacted bk to camp by their plt colleges...
so much happenin, so much comin up 2moro...i stayin out for 1 nite, and will b returnin to camp later the nxt nite...siao lao, the messiest job in the coy is mine to take!
