i was kinda glad dat the 'darught' dat s'pore facin was finally over when korea got whacked in a 3hr++ match...but seriously, in army, deres notin much u may noe bout wads goin' on outside...till the dae u left the gates of yr camp...i onli noe bout dis vict onli on the mornin newspaper juz now...sigh, guess the weightlifter can rest easy...not bad, shd b a steppin stop for more yet to come...
i would like to pay a tribute to a period of my ns life which i had long often taken for granted...since the 1st dae of bmt till now, i always thrive in dis universe whr we follow orders frm superiors like robots (mind the lang...oops) and perform tasks...we all sweat it all, give it all, and finish everythin as all...besides dat, notin much else left to do in a typical dae, cos we r the stars of the dae's show...but who r the ppl who r behind all the preparation and supervisin of the show's runnin?...no other den dos superiors...the men behind the show have to kp up wid dwlindlin timings and endless amt of prep...a mess-up can mess up the show, sometimes even comprimisin the safety of the show runners themselves...recall murphy's law: sometimes the worst dat can happen will always happen...dats the kinda diff the men behind the show usually faces...meanin they had gonna b well prepared...
for 8 mths, i been runnin my own show (frm a totally f*****-up start)...and last wk was the wk i bring the show to a close...its been a long way...ever since the dae when i, with much doubts, made the switch frm the commanded to the commander...i used to kp thkin' dat wid my kind of presonality, i gonna have an issue
wid workin wid men...but guess wad?...frm tekong to plc to nee soon, deres been alot of changes in me, though the rennants of the past tends to haunt me now and den...i had nvr felt more ready to take on wad the nxt 11.3 yrs awaits for me...but before i move on to the nxt stage of ns, i would realli like to appreciate the moments in time whr a period of little responsibility is always more often taken for granted...
time has come to man the show of the dae....
