I c dat dis place is gathering abit of 'dust', so i addin another update here...u know, the MLG alot of interestin stuffs to do one, juz onli a matter of how u find stuffs and so on...well, i saw dis one discussion on my class' GP portal bout elitism and i shall quote abit here and dere to show abit of 'gp-ish' amusement...

Frm Lenard: " Yes, i do consider myself an elite. When I first stepped into a Junior College, the Principal would stressed to us that we are the top 20~25% of our generation and this would inevitably lead us to think that we are in an elite institution and hence making us elites. "

Frm Christina (in response to lenard): "Mr Lenard Ong , do shaking of legs and make people sitting beside you feel giddy also one of the acceptable acts as an elite? In addition, life is not just about being the best. So what you reach the highest peak than your peer? Soon you will realise you are just an empty shell and just a money slave."

Frm Jeremy (my class one, not lor mee, haha...in response to lenard also): " Dear Mr Ong, seriously i feel that what you have written is a whole lot of informations.........If you consider the fact that many single pointer people opt for poly and not all coming to JC. to cut my text short, i would like to ask does being an elite, have the right to dig his nose and being selfish? sorry for my language as i am not an elite. =D"

Frm lenard (in response to jeremy): " Dear Jeremy, then why do we have an institution that caters to those who score less than 20 for O levels, polys and ITE? Think about it, its to separate the capable from the not so capable and the different institutions cater to these levels. The top level is of course we, the Elites (JC).......... Well, i think digging nose and be selfish is the person's character and nothing to do with the question of elitism, have you not grasp the concept of elitism yet? Maybe Madam lim can enlighten you when we go for class on monday."

Frm roach (in response to lenard): "erm lenard i think you somehow got yourself confused. i think you're the one that needs to be enlightened in this area. in your initial posting you mentioned the being elite means acting like a gentleman or lady like, regardless whether it's the way one sit or basically the body postures and actions. so now you are trying to say digging nose is part of someone's character and so it has nothing to do with being an elite or not? Oh come on. so you're trying to say if someone whom you consider to be elite sits down (exactly like the way you presume an elite supposed to sit) and if he digs his nose, you mean he is still an elite?. OMG. And that's what you call enlightenment hur. Good Job."

Frm Jeremy (also in response to lenard's reply) : "hahas.. Mr Lenard wow your language is so perfect that i had to use a dictionary to check. ok i admit my gp not very good. hmm i want to tell you something yes there are other places like poly, ITE etc for them to go. but then think again the fact that we consider ourself as elite does not equal to how others may think. beside if we just consider ourself as elite without others agreeing, i would think that it is something known as brag ( hope i spell it correctly ) or in laymen term something call plain crap and that it will be a joke well i believe i better not say anymore because i am afraid i might... never mind."

well, nough of the discussion for the dae...i tired like siao liao....yawn....
