yo man...i juz returned frm a trip to the first old folks' home at yishun...guess dis pix will tell the place itself, eh?...yeah, yeah, shd have put something more worthy though...well, we were dere for dis Service-Learning Day thingy, all for CIP...well, i nvr saw quite as much wheelchair-bound people as i had seen before...its like the whole place full of such ppl...there were quotes from dis Narayana Guru fella placed all over the place...rite to the hall whr all of us assembled for CIP session...
well, thing is dat all of us were supposed to perform a concert for the fellas at the home...12G was first, and despite our TOTAL lack of preparation, all of us managed to sing to the song '甜密密'...well, feeling kinda sry for the indian fellas who had much diificulty singing in chinese...hahaha...nevertheless, still quite gd job well done lor...saw all the ppl applauding after the short show ended...cos lah, me feel quite okay wid wad i saw...touched leh...haha...
well, 12F was nxt and, man, they did prepare quite a loadful for dis stuff sia...they prepare line dancing, wid a modern twist, quite different frm wad i usually expect frm lind dancing lor...well, like wad a cerain Mr Ong sae, the preformance was a bit repitative, but still a hell load better than us...i mean, they're dancing man!...haha...no offence hor, 12G...oh yeah, jun qing sing well also, haha...he got potential, yet he humble, sae he got prob with his vocals...dude, u shd try out at Campus Superstand sia!...haha...
rest of the concert r singing sessions by the other CGs...meanwhile, dos not performing was supposed to yak round with the old folks in the hall...the biggest prob wid dat is dat, despite the fact dat i'm Hokkien, i know technically NOTHING bout Hokkien lor!...but at least, i'm not the onli fella alone since more than 3/4 of the class dun know how to speak their dialects either...for the lucky few who know their dialects, my head bows to u guys...haha...
well least, did a part for charity, dats the best one dude could do lor...todae den ended off with a 'wasted dinner' (cos i paid $3.50 for yun tun noodles which was barely enough but roach stole away with a more yummy 'fried chicken rice' for $3.80!)...and soon wid phy tutorials...guess dats bk to normal life, i guess...but dis monotony is bout to b disturbed soon ,when the dreaded Prelims (P frm now on...man , i love shortcuts!) arrive...
Oh, for me, 1 mental note...dun mix your noodles with a banana ice blend drink...not gd for the stomach, u c...(groann)...
