Footsteps
A piece of my mind I wanna share todae, in conjuction wid this being the 100th post...
We live our own lives, driven by what we feel and sense. The feelings that we feel come from what drives us deep inside our hearts. Some of us show their feelings and thoughts openly, regardless of whatever the nature that drives them to do so is. Others keep them to themselves and like an enigmatic person, remains mysterious to others.
Why do we have such varying personalities? This is what I feel is so unique about we, the people: We reside in a community that resembles a myraid of colours. Some are bright, cheerful and lively. Others are reserved, calm and thoughtful. There can be personalities we like and probably some we may disfavour. But still, this mixture of personalities is what is so unique about the human spirit.
Lets look for example, how one will handle confusion. Some may sweep it aside and pretend nothing had happened. They may choose to dwell over it at a later time for they may find it irrelevant. Some may ponder over what has caused this confusion but could end up thinking about the impossibilites of this confusion, when the reality had sunk in. Another group may choose to stare at the confusion in the face, and choose to compromise with others for a solution to the confusion they may face. Hence, you can see for yourself the ways people look and face a certain something they face.
Be it pleasant or sour, long or short, far-reaching or accomplishable, these personalities help to constitute the memories that deinfe our own histories. Memories cannot be forged: they can only be defined by what we do in the past, what we do today and the days that precede today. How precious these memorires and thoughts may be to us really depends on who we are, what we are made of and how we look at the way we live.
My past memories have been chronicled as I type this blog from the beginning. I cannot bear to part with memories for they give me something to ponder and think about. The past not only provide foods for thoughts, but also give me insights about my future. Sometimes, these things may be the tips I should take to forge good friendships, or the mistakes that I should not commit again, or the inspirations that I take up to look towards life.
These memories are footsteps.
