actualli, prev rains ytd had made matrichie reservoir into a mudpool...the paths of Lornie track had been full of mud pools and rain puddles...all of us veri suay, kena mud...actualli no big deal also lor...
as stated in prev post, i ran for Rasalas...when i start race, not too bad...but i got dis one feeling dat the rd suddenly lks longer as compared to the prev time i ran in the prev X-country...the jungle trail lks like nvr end one, den when running up slope, veri tiring and taxing...walao, like die leh...
but after wad seem forever, i finally saw Lornie rd, but the rd also seem like will not end one, i den juz walk on the up-climbing slope, den let my legs fly down the downward slopes...
i thought dat after dis stretch so darn long, sure lose out liao...but den shocking, still got rasalas members cheering me on as i approach the finish...i den knew dat dis instant not over yet...to confirminate, deres dis voice i heard "10 seconds left..."...i den cheong to the finish...me thinks dat around dis time, i lost control of my mind and juz let my physical self take the rest of the final stretch...
by the time i finish, i juz collaspe, too exhuasted to walk...breathing also pain like hell...but den, i juz got myself up and ask the ppl dere how far i'm away frm sero time...well, they dunno...they juz gimme dis cool-looking badge...woah, to think dat after dis much wk, i finally got wad i wanted...maybe its shd b a miracle...to b the LAST person who made it within 30 mins in the boys' 4.8km run...
anyway, when i come bk, my 12d mate WERE amazed to know dat i managed to make it...course, made me pleased with myself...thx ppl, for cheering me on...hahaha...well, me thinks dats the last x-country i will run dis time...but still, a gd memory to kp....and for reading dis much, i wanna present to u readers with dis pic...
cool eh?...pity dat Rasalas lost to champion Taurus by 1 pt...maybe if iris/irene/jun qing do make it, maybe we shd win leh...hahaha...
