Yeah!!…at long last, the details for Mr Lee’s bookings for a chalet have come out! Man, I loved chalets…the atmosphere, the scenery…of course, not to forget great mates to be with! Haha…yup, so we r going to Aloha Chalets at Changi…well, dats kinda great for me…me thinks some of ya have gone there before…stayed there also…I was there last Nov, with my sec sch mates…dats also my first time dere…yup, so lay back on yr chair and prepare for a gd long recount…


Day 1

I set off frm semb MRT with mate lor mee, ah hao and a couple of others to Tampines mrt…went shopping for some food (well, dats last-minute shopping…dats the prob when ppl procrastinate)…dere is like so many ppl…so crowded also (well, dats the hols…bound to b busy.)…I nvr know dat for one shopping trip through a mall, my mates can spend SO long over dere…4 hrs…By the time we reached at the chalet, barbecue parties had aweddy begun…darn smokey the place is…

The chalet lies on a desolate spot in Changi…way,way far frm those housing estates…the chalet is one-storey, has bout 4-5 air-conditioned bedrooms and 1 toilet. There’s also a TV set near the entrance and a spacious living rm…just perfect for bout 15 ppl to seat on the floor comfortably, course, sofas included…a pity nobody bought a gaming console though =(…Behind the ‘living rm’, dere is the dining rm whr u got dis big table to accommodate bout 12 ppl…perfect for mass meals…behind the dining area is this corridor with lots of windows, blinds included…wonderful for scenery…climb up a small flight of stairs and u reach the kitchen. The kitchen is found at the back of the chalet…with a fridge, boiler, yr typical utensils and guess wad, an ice box! Interesting…but the food course u must cook yrself!…The bedroom is enough for 4 ppl to sleep on comfortably, juz big enough for a mini game of soccer…Each person had his own bed to himself but can just combine with other beds to makr king-size…Haha…Beyond the doors of the chalet, u got dis long windy path dat went down a small hill and ends at a narrow road…dis road can go to either a nearby beach or juz back to Changi Bus Int…

Anyway, when I arrived dere, it was like 5pm aweddy…some of my mates were watching TV…yeah, to catch Harry Potter, others were busy manning the barbecue…some, well, juz r busy eating non-stop…I choose to marvel at my ‘bedroom’…

Anyway, night approaches and everyone juz stayed dere and have fun…until we’re high into the night…hahaha, nobody can stop us, we r all alone in Changi, hahaha…I spent most of the night playing soccer with ah hao and lor mee…yeah, night soccer in an air-con rm…my favourite…other time of the night was pent playing Monopoly with my mates lor…think only last bout 1hr…sigh…

Eventually, lights off at 1.30am…but I cannot sleep veri well lor, so excited…my first night out!…haha, very suaku, darn mountain-tortise also…At some point in the night, I laid so long on my bed dat lor mee, still awake, thought I slept aweddy…den, as he bout to reach the bed nxt to me, I just raise my hands and act like Chinese ghost…haha, scared the bloody crap out of him…he couldn’t sleep again dat night.

Day 2

I woke up at bout 5.30am…veri darn lei…went outta the chalet to have gd air and some deep thoughts…and then went to kitchen to make instant noodles…apparently, dats wad my mates plan to eat course they wake up SO late dat they juz cook lunch…Hmm…the chilli crab flavour still memorable…spicy and best served hot…one of fav. instant cup noodles so far…

Spent de rest of de morning listening to radio…nothing much done otherwise unless u wanna include ‘live’ guitar performance and some interesting rounds of UNO…sad thing is, I keep losing most of the times…darn sian lor…juz when i thought that I beat my bro than not so bad at UNO…only to be beaten by my mates again and again…SIAN!

Early afternoon was spent playing football with a few mates…the ball darn weird, use paper ball then blow up to make ball…then juz kick…lame kicking lah…one of those ‘passing’ games…I really prefer the match type and penaly type of games one de…

Then we also got water bombs…Yeah, BIG water bombs thrown at u in the early afternoon rain…perfect for messy water fights….by the end, its hard to differentiate whos more wetter aweddy…hahaha…my water bombs all custom made…when thrown they look like slingshot so dat when they land on yr target, they explode with max effect…!

For late afternoon, I juz spent time at the chalet while most of my mates went to the beach…by the end of the water fight, I darn tirerd so lor mee and I juz stayed back at the chalet and do tasting season of all the food my mates brought…haha, in the end, it was more than juz tasting season…by the time my mates returned, they found nearly ½ the fd missing…we didn’t admit…haha, so darn silly lah…they actually accepted wad we say leh!

Sad thing is, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to go home in the evening…


Still, veri memorable chalet I will always live to know…I juz hope dat this time, maybe 0612D can come up with veri interesting class-bonding activities lor…sure will be veri fun…yup, also hope for some more colours in the upcoming chalet…U can 100% bet I will be there at the chalet…Yeah!
