The Storm
Here's my first take on poems for the blog. It pretty reflects what I see today and my ideologies with regards to that. Hope you guys understand.
Once there resides The Land,
Where everything that moves are grand,
The People there are extraordinary,
Their happiness lasting for eternity.
One day, it came,
Change of fortunes it comes to blame,
Clouds rolls over the greenest of plains,
The thunder cracking the quiteness of lanes.
The poeple cannot stay their cool,
They flee and tempers fly, hell breaks loose,
Even the wisest of men say,
The Land will not live another peaceful day.
Sure enough, the Storm rooted to its place,
Bringing chaos and fear without any grace,
The People cannot take the pain,
Wishing peace will eventually return one day.
But a Man stood proud,
Facing the tempering Strom and shouting out:
"We are a union standing strong,
We fear not the ugliest of yours,
Your attempt in bringing about chaos are in vain,
So leave The Land and never come again!"
The Storm moves away in shame,
Leaving The Land free and great,
Animals trote freely in fields,
The People celebrating while collecting yields,
They finally feel the fresh air of peace,
And swore they stay united at the very least.
