The Breakdown of The Time Machine
Back at IJC, most of my mates of 0612D call me 'The Time Machine', and for good reasons. I tend to stay among what was considered the intellectual elite (Which I don’t strongly feel so…) in the class and people was wondering why I performed so well…They claimed I have 48 hours a day and have all the time in the world to do homework and conduct self-studies…despite the fact that I spent more time playing with my computer than doing my own homework. The assumed ability that I can ‘manipulate time and space’ hence give me this weird nickname, ‘The Time Machine’.
However, this week, the Machine had malfunctioned for it mixes time and space in all the wrong directions! I seemingly cannot remember the exact times for tutorials and yet I can attend all lectures on time. As a result, I missed a Physics and PW tutorial! This had made my parents darn infuriated, close to the point of complaining the JC staff, for which the reason was beyond my reasoning. I am getting forgetful; not even stick-on pads on the walls of my room can help me! Argh, if this continues, I am sure to lose out in the rat race!
These holidays had been everything but slack. I am nearly doing nothing except playing computers games. Seriously, is there something more exciting to do other than doing pages of homework on a dark night? At the least, the Summer Test is coming soon…I cannot afford to flunk it since I had trashed the first 2 tests in the previous week. Well, now my June Holiday has a specific aim to achieve…Boredom: Eliminated! Haha!
