Orientation activities: The truth about their appeal
The orientation programme in Innova Junior College (IJC from this point onwards) was fairly good, although I wished things would be more exciting than just simple, ‘secondary-school-style’ activities. To be frank, I really cannot wait for Thursday to arrive because that will be the time that introductory subject and process skills lectures will be conducted and I can finally learn something! You see, I am a person who gets easily bored with lame activities and will be willing to learn something new, well, that is if the timing is perfect!
So far, there were only talks by university officials, some of those lame activities (I wish I can show you pictures of how lame those activities are, but I am one person who don’t have a camera-equipped handphone, as I don’t even own one normal handphone, meaning that I do not have any pictures! By the time you read this, you are probably thinking I am lame, or otherwise.), subject talks but a lot of gaming fun as my friend, Jeremy, and I (Do visit his blog at
www.jeremy-yap.blogspot.com.) had played a couple of simple computer games in the campus.
Time certainly is dragging, especially when things start to get boring…I really wish there was a timing option for an accelerator.
